Spirit + Reality = Spirituality
We all have or have had misconceptions of the idea of being spiritual in more ways than one. In my understanding, it is the truth about spirits (our souls) and the purpose of its existence and the reality of the beyond. Spirituality strikes a chord differently with everyone. People are unique, so are their experiences. It depends how we connect with the truth. But the ultimate goal is to bring in a sense of humanity with a feeling of oneness with everything that exists, man and matter, and pave way to our soul’s evolution and help bring love and peace on a universal level.
A little deeper into Soul, Heaven and Hell
Most of us know that our body is just a vessel that carries our soul, which is eternal and that the soul comes back in physical form every time it incarnates. Then, there is the concept of heaven and hell, prominent in most religious texts, which are actually different realms or dimensions, where the soul transcends after it leaves the body for a brief period of time. During the time of our death we will have to review our life from a higher perspective and our consciousness will bring everything to our notice; every feeling, every emotion of happiness, joy, love, anger, guilt, fear, hate, depression, etc. We watch our entire life like a movie without any fast forward button and check if we have learnt our lessons, for we cannot hide or lie to our consciousness. We are our best judge. It is us, who decides whether we deserve happiness and bliss or to dwell in guilt and fear, so called heaven and hell. If a person has inflicted pain onto others, he/she will have to re-live the situation, only this time the person will be emotionally experiencing the hurt or trauma the exact same way the victim felt, but in multitudes. As souls in this dimension, our etheric bodies only takes with it the memories, feelings and the emotional baggage. Whatever feelings we have, be it hate, anger, guilt, resentment or happiness, joy, love and fulfilment are those that we carry with us, imprinted in our souls. As emotional beings, we live with what we carry with us and we don't want the negative emotions to weigh us down, do we? And unlike earth, all emotions are magnified and every soul can read each other's thoughts. There is no hiding. Our feelings and thoughts are displayed to the entire dimension. So 'now' is the right time for us to start practicing to hold positive thoughts.
Communicating with Souls/Spirits
With the existence of souls and different realms being accepted, why do we find it difficult to believe that communication between us-humans and the beings from different dimensions is possible? Why is it hard to believe in mediums? Does a person following the spiritual path always have the need to wear his/her religious uniform as an identity to be accepted by the society? We do believe in the saying “do not judge the book by its cover”. So, why do we judge a person by the way he/she looks or dresses? More so, why do we shun the practice as a cult or witchery? Not all practices involve the dark and negative energy. It can be a more spiritually ascended, holistic way of life, if done the right way. I’m not supporting the people who use black magic, but those journeying into spirituality and who are naturally psychic. Most mediums and psychics possess these skills right from birth and few others gain them from their spiritual practice. If a majority of people can't communicate with the spirit world the way a medium does, it really doesn’t mean that the possibilities for such communication don’t exist. Anything is possible. The fact is that people who can communicate in that way, have exercised their ability to do so. It is not a Hallucination. Everyone are capable to get in touch with the other dimension, which is our home, where we connect with our higher consciousness or the Divine Spark or God along with our loved ones. It is not a cult or witchcraft or forbidden to talk to the other side. It is our true being, getting connected to our home and our loved ones which is on the other side of the veil. It’s like talking over the phone with our family on the other part of the world. In this case, instead of the technology, we use our intuition, our awareness and our telepathy.

Understanding a Soul's Journey
When a person dies, their soul usually hovers above the body and stays on the earth realm for some time till they make sure their family and loved ones are coping with the loss and are doing fine. Once assured, they move toward the light, either journeying through a tunnel leading to the light or in any other way, depending upon each individual’s experience; which takes them to a higher realm. The light serves as a portal between the two dimensions. Usually, two or more deceased relatives or friends of the soul would accompany the journey. It’s the choice of the soul to move towards the light or to stay behind. Few souls stay back on earth either fearing the transition or due to unfinished business or by being too attached with the earth life or due to their belief systems or by simply not knowing that they are dead and for many more reasons. They are called earth bound spirits. These souls appear to be ghosts and there is a very thin veil between them and us on earth. In fact we live side by side sharing our space with them but mostly unaware of each other. Once the soul crosses over to the other dimension, the soul’s journey begins. And they can visit earth when they want, mainly to check on their loved ones and to be a guide. There are many levels or dimensions in the astral plane. And though our souls gravitate towards the realm that suits our wave length and our souls’ evolution, we can still be open to learn and move up spiritually. In the law of the Universe, like attracts like. Unevolved souls with a lower vibration of fear, hate, anger and guilt will be pulled to a denser realm in the lower astral plane that we call hell. Souls that vibrate with happiness, love, compassion, and positivity will be pulled towards higher vibrating realms, so called heaven. Souls from higher dimensions can visit lower realms mainly to assist, guide, teach and help them, but souls from lower realms cannot move to higher realms unless they evolve. Our etheric bodies become lighter as we spiritually evolve and move up in dimensions.
Spiritually connecting with the other side
If you still fear the dead, remind yourself that they are souls just like us who have shed their physical body. Eventually you and I will be like them; pure energy sans physical body in the realm that we call heaven or hell based on our vibration and how we evaluate ourselves at the time of our death. Many people think communicating with the dead is evil. But the dead are not dead actually. They are just home, in their true form. Only the method and intention for communicating can be right or wrong. As mentioned earlier, using any form of black magic with a negative intention will only bring upon negative experiences. What you sow, is what you reap. You need to know what you are dealing with before you get into it. Negative energy attracts negative spirits. It is essential for us to educate ourselves of the other side. And communicating with the other side doesn’t always mean that we deal with the dark energy. Like they say, a coin has two sides, there is good and bad. It is our choice to pick the side. If you think that you may be misled into the dark side, you won’t without your consent. There is always a divine, spiritual way to approaching it. When we are under the protection and guidance of the Divine, we can easily identify the souls that are manipulative and the souls that are of Celestial origin with pure love and light. We don’t have to be afraid because we are spiritual beings in our physical bodies. Spirit is our true form and the other realm we call heaven is our real home. When we incline more toward spirituality, by which ever method you may choose to adopt and by raising our consciousness to keep us aligned with the Divine and their guidance, our awareness heightens and clairvoyance, clairaudience and clairsentience are easily attained. Just like our 5 senses, new ones open up and we tend to be more sensitive to subtle energies and can be more intuitive, often dissolving the veils between the worlds. This helps us to sense and communicate telepathically to beings of the other realms. Lucid Dreaming, Out of Body Experiences and Astral Travels are just a few that opens up to us for new experiences when we are spiritually awakened and are journeying in the right path. It is like climbing one step higher in the ladder, in search of the Divine. Everyone is capable in doing so. It is no magic. Personally I feel meditation would speed up the process.
There is much more to what the eyes and mind can see, and that is the TRUTH.
THIS TRUTH IS THE BUILDING BLOCK TO THE TRUTH OF EVOLUTION, TRUTH OF LIFE, TRUTH OF OUR PHYSICALLY BEING HERE.
And anything that does not support our Spiritual Growth is not good enough.
It is time for us to shed our ignorance, fear and EGO and look beyond the conventional ideologies. It is our human tendency to dump any concept that contradicts old and rigid belief systems and we have witnessed this recurring pattern over and over again. But, this concept of souls and other beings from different dimensions/realms and other galaxies is not new. It’s centuries old knowledge, forgotten over time. And how long are we going to ignore this TRUTH? No, I’m not getting into the subject of Aliens. Not yet. Not now. This time it’s just going to be about spirituality. But there is much more to just spirits and heaven. To be precise, there are multiple dimensions and different realities. Lately, few physicists have proposed the possibilities of multiple universes with an idea of possible life forms away from earth. Soon, we will learn the existence of them in a scientific approach, though the ancient scriptures have them all uncovered and exposed.
Why is Religion different from Spirituality?
Most of the vital knowledge of the truth has been limited and suppressed by various misinterpreted religious beliefs. Being religious is different from being spiritual. Spirituality is like an ocean; where you can find different aquatic creatures, all, living in harmony, no matter what their lifestyle is. Religion is like one variety of sea creatures living in the vast ocean. They follow a particular lifestyle. There are differences and constrains limited to where and how that particular variety of sea creatures thrive. Being religious alone is like blindly following a common path that may or may not lead you half way toward your journey, but how would you reach your soul’s destination from wherever you are left? Each soul is unique and each soul has a different purpose or mission. Devotion to God is essential but ignoring the knowledge of the Divine that supports our very existence does no good. Most religions emphasize only in devotion to God, in the form of prayers and praises offered to Him and to strictly follow the religion’s traditions. Most often, rigid religious belief systems don’t encourage curiosity, suppressing our ability to question thus suppressing our intention to learn and failing to gain the knowledge of our very own existence. Spirituality, on the other hand is the quest to self-discovery, our purpose of existence and what lies beyond. One needn't be religious to be spiritual. Spirituality is not something that can be taught. It has no rules nor right or wrong procedure. It connects differently with everyone as all of us are unique. Though we can motivate people into opting a holistic life and to follow a spiritual path, the experiences are private and individual. Searching for the answers is the key to spirituality. As we all know, curiosity is the mother of inventions and knowledge. There is nothing wrong in questioning. How would you get the answer if you don't ask the question? That being said, you also need to have an open mind to receive the answer. If you thought that curiosity made our present day worse with the inventions of various destructive weapons. I would like to add that even before these weapons were invented, we all did fight with other weapons we had. It’s the minds of the people that have to change not the technology. In fact, only now, the differences between us have reduced comparatively, but if at all a war breaks out, we are doomed. That’s one of the main reasons for everyone to spiritually progress with awareness and to bring peace rather than blindly follow the rules.

More importantly, it is not about how many brownie points you earn to go to heaven but how happy you are to help and not expect anything in return. It's not about helping people because you think it's the right thing to do, but genuinely feeling the need to do so from your heart. Today, people offer help for their personal benefits of either gaining brownie points to heaven or to balance their sins/karma. Had they known the real purpose of our existence and the truth beyond our physical life; the world would be a lot better place.
How do you know you are on the right path?
That thing you call intuition?
It's your soul, you can trust it.
Being intuitive is being on the right track. Follow your heart. Listen to your inner voice. Most often you will find that the gut feeling inside you was always right. When you are on the right track, synchronicities happen. There are no coincidences, chances or accidents. Everything happens for a reason. Mysticism and miracles start unfolding. Manifestations becomes easy. The Universe will start to work in favour of you. But actually that is how it’s meant to be and that is how we are meant to live our life. We just forgot who we are and how to live. Every person is a spark from the Creator. If you can believe that one spiritually powerful person can perform miracles, so can you or anyone else. We just have to exercise our true nature. Every soul is unique and every soul has the power to be what it wants. We create with our thoughts. And it is our right to connect to the higher realms. Eventually that’s where we will be progressing and that’s the truth.
Why is it necessarily important for us to seek the TRUTH now?
Because, when we see the big picture, we learn the true purpose of our lives. It answers our very basic question – why are we here? We realize how blessed we are to be born on earth and how important it is for our souls to be incarnated here at this time. Also, we experience the oneness with all creations and when we start to recognize we are the same soul that resides in different bodies, our outlook changes and we start accepting everyone irrespective of any differences and act responsibly, not only toward our fellow beings but also toward every single creation of God, be it animal or rock. Because, when we leave our physical bodies, we will also be leaving behind our religion, race, colour, culture and status. These divisions don't exist on the other side. And when we incarnate again, we don't necessarily have to be born in the same family, religion or country with the same sex. You could be a female in this lifetime and a male in the next, your mother in this lifetime could have been your son in the past. And you could have been born into a particular religion in the past, but follow a different one now. Once we understand this truth, we will no longer hold any kind of discrimination towards anyone. We will strive to make conscious efforts to help realize true oneness and hold positive thoughts, stay happy and act with love until it naturally becomes a habit. Though the message is common and universal, how many of us will vouch to devotedly follow? Being spiritually aligned will help us to see the truth from a totally different perspective, more like in an enchanted way that we cannot avoid but follow the guide. Those who have experienced this will understand my language. I believe, every single step of every single soul toward a better future counts, and that includes having an open mind and holding a willingness to listen.
